Our new business, Human CapiTools (tm) website has launched. While we are proud of our successes with Miller Consultants, we know that professional consulting services, no matter how effective, are not always feasible or affordable for every organization. We launched Human CapiTools (tm) specifically to address the needs of these companies. Based on highly successfully strategies developed by Dr. Kathy Miller, Human CapiTools (tm), now offers a new tool-based approach to our products and services, designed to give you just what you need, when you need it, at a reasonable price. The tool kits complement the consulting services offered through our parent company, Miller Consultants, Inc., but may be used with or without our assistance. Through these new products and services, we will deliver our techniques, processes and knowledge to you in a highly accessible and affordable format.

In the Spring of 2006, Kathleen Miller presented a seminar on Leading Change at the Strategic Leadership Centre in Nairobi Kenya. The audience included bankers, publishers and insurance executives. The seminar addressed how to know when your organization is due for change, how to prepare to lead it and how to develop a change strategy and blueprint. The lively discussion and discoveries of cultural similarities and differences have led to an ongoing relationship between Miller Consultants and the Strategic Leadership Centre headed by Peter Kahihu.

Miller Consultants recently completed an award-winning training game for Nextel/Sprint to teach the retail sales force about their products and how to sell them. The game was a colorful and unique game board using a format similar to Trivial Pursuit. The goal was to teach content while making the training exciting and engaging and early reports indicate that we succeeded. Miller Consultants is partnering with MWH International, to assist them with the change management and knowledge management needs of their water and wastewater clients. We recently completed our first joint project with the Ypsilanti Community Utilities Authority. You will find a case study of this project on our sister company Human Capitools website.

Kathleen Miller and Leslie Hunt have coauthored an article entitled Unique Competencies for a Unique Company, to be published in Consulting Today this Spring. The article serves as a case study of the Miller Consultants' work on leadership development for the Canyon Ranch wellness and lifestyle companies. Canyon Ranch is distinguished by its ground-breaking mission, philosophy, values and business model. It has won awards for its health resorts throughout the country, particularly because of the manner in which it provides customized services to meet each guest's individual needs. The leadership development process designed jointly by Miller Consultants and Canyon Ranch staff is truly one of a kind.
